To provide our drone-powered cleaning services, we collect:

Contact & Billing Info: Name, email, phone number, and billing address.
Property Data: Physical addresses, roof/building photos, and site assessments required for drone flight planning and safety.
Pilot & Job Applicant Data: Resumes, FAA/Transport Canada certifications, and background checks.
Technical Data: IP addresses and cookies used to improve our website performance.

3. Purpose of Collection (Why We Need It)

We collect this data to:

Provide accurate quotes for soft washing, window cleaning, or roof treatments.
Ensure all drone operations comply with Transport Canada safety regulations.
Communicate with you regarding service schedules and follow-ups.
Verify the qualifications of our drone technicians.

4. Consent & Disclosure

By using our services or website, you consent to the collection of your data for the purposes stated above. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with:

Service Providers: Third-party tools for CRM, email, or payment processing (e.g., Jobber, Stripe, etc.).
Legal Requirements: If required by Canadian law or to ensure the safety of our flight operations.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely. Please note that some of our third-party service providers may store data on servers located outside of Canada (e.g., in the United States). In such cases, your data is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

Under PIPA, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you. If you would like to review, verify, or correct your data, please contact our Privacy Officer.

7. Aerial Imagery & Neighboring Privacy

As a drone-powered service, Clareza Aero Inc is committed to respecting the privacy of the Okanagan community. We fully understand that people can be weird when it comes to drones, and at times even be paranoid that they are being spied on. We follow Transport Canada’s Privacy Guidelines and BC PIPA standards during all flight operations:

Targeted Collection: Our drones are equipped with cameras used specifically for flight safety, site assessment, and quality control of the cleaning surface. We do not intentionally capture images of individuals, license plates, or the interior of neighboring properties.

Incidental Imagery: If a neighboring property is incidentally captured in the background of a site assessment photo, we take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is not identifiable.

No Surveillance: Our drones are never used for surveillance or any purpose other than the cleaning and maintenance of the contracted property.

Data Minimization: We only record and store imagery necessary for project estimation and proof of service. Footage not required for these business purposes is deleted according to our data retention schedule.
